Oldham – By Royal Appointment

Budding entrepreneurs came to Oldham to take part in the Pitch at the Palace event at the newly opened Wayra and Hackspace project on Yorkshire Street.

It was fitting that the event was held in the new enterprise and tech hub, not least of all because of its historic name as York Chambers; an appropriate venue to welcome Prince Andrew, Duke of York to Oldham for his second visit.

In total 17 companies pitched for support and investment with three being selected to go onto ‘boot camp’ where they would receive one to one support as they prepare to move on to the next level.

Three companies, Music for Pets, Driver Net and Triple Tread were selected to attend Boot Camp on 10th October, 2017.

Best of luck!
